Oklahoma Lady

My life was so lonely. I live in a small town in the state of Oklahoma. There was no one I could talk to about this hair pulling. While searching through web sites I ran across Trichotillomania Christian Ministries. It was there that I first found out I was not alone in this pulling habit as a Christian and I started emailing Camilla. Camilla was quick to assure me I was not alone, I had Jesus Christ and thus began a new fresh journey in overcoming hair pulling. I needed love and encouragement that through Christ I could overcome this. The email ministry has helped me to look to the Lord as my solution to finding peace with hair pulling. A relationship with Jesus – that is what it is all about! My hair is growing in pretty good. I have pulled one or two hairs now and then and it grieves me. I am using scripture about taking thoughts captive – the ones that stress me out and it is helping. Overall I am very excited that I no longer feel the total need to turn to my hair.
